- Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has tweeted about the Pegasus espionage issue, in which the central government's attitude has been targeted.
- Rahul wrote in the tweet, "The foundation of our democracy is that MPs become the voice of the people and discuss issues of national importance."
- He said, "Modi govt is not allowing the opposition to do this work. Don't waste more time of Parliament - let's talk about inflation, farmers and #Pegasus!"
- Significantly, due to the Pegasus issue, the monsoon session of Parliament has been badly disrupted and there has been a time to postpone the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
- While interacting with reporters on Wednesday on the Pegasus issue, Rahul had alleged that our voice is being suppressed in Parliament.
