'SC should take cognizance in Pegasus case, conduct investigation under its supervision', demands Mayawati
- Former UP CM and BSP chief Mayawati has moved the Supreme Court in view of the daily uproar in the monsoon session of Parliament over the Pegasus spyware case.
- She did so to take suo moto cognizance in this matter and get the matter investigated under his supervision so that the truth can come to the public.
- Mayawati has tweeted, "The monsoon session of Parliament is not going on properly due to mistrust and huge confrontation between the govt and the opposition on the most important issues of the country."
- She added, "Pegasus scandal is also heating up, yet the Center is not ready to investigate this issue. The country is worried."
- "In such a situation, the BSP requests the Hon'ble Supreme Court to take cognizance of it by taking its own cognizance of the Pegasus espionage case in the country", wrote Mayawati.
