Barabanki Road Accident: 18 people killed, 25 serious due to truck collision
- A bus going from Haryana to Bihar was hit from behind by a truck in Barabanki, UP, in which 18 people died on the spot.
- The collision on the Ayodhya-Lucknow highway near Ramsanehi Ghat in Barabanki was so severe that the dead bodies were scattered on the streets.
- According to the information received, this bus was going from Palwal to Bihar and there were about 140 people on the bus, mostly labourers.
- On getting information about the horrific accident, ADG SN Sabat and SP Yamuna Prasad reached the spot and immediately sent the injured to the hospital through ambulance.
- All the injured are being treated at Trauma Center in Barabanki and Lucknow, the accident was so terrible that the death toll may increase further.
