Corona breaks the back of traders in Dharavi, forced to close shops due to lack of buyers
- The problems of traders have increased only after the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic. Business is negligible and due to less work, it has also affected the workers.
- Earlier, 15 labourers used to work in Ahmed Raza, who worked as a track painter in the Dharavi area of Mumbai's metropolis of Maharashtra, but now only 6 people are working.
- The shop is also full of goods as there is no buyer. Almost the same is the case with Sarajuddin Ansari, who is associated with the clothing business.
- Earlier, work was done on 15 to 20 machines, now due to lack of demand, only 4 machines are being worked on.
- Money is not coming, but the workers have to pay their salary, bank EMI and electricity bill.
