
Govt engaged in persuading the opposition to end the deadlock in Parliament over the Pegasus scandal
- The govt has approached the opposition to end the week-long deadlock in Parliament due to the Pegasus espionage scandal.
- Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has met Manish Tewari of Congress and Supriya Sule of Nationalist Congress.
- Let us tell you, some media organizations published reports that an unknown agency using Pegasus spyware of the Israeli company NSO has targeted opposition leaders, ministers, journalists and many others.
- The report mentioned a target list, which contained phone numbers of opposition leaders, some Union ministers and Indian journalists.
- It was told that these numbers were targets for possible espionage of this agency. Since then the opposition is attacking the government in Parliament.
