No such scheme is under consideration to make petrol, diesel prices uniform - Hardeep Singh Puri
- The govt on Monday said that no plan is under consideration to keep the prices of petrol and diesel uniform across the country.
- It said that so far the GST Council has decided to include oil and gas in the GST (Goods and Services Tax). There is no recommendation.
- This information was given by Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri in a written reply to the question of Uday Pratap Singh and Rodmal Nagar in Lok Sabha.
- The members had asked whether the government was preparing any plan to keep the prices of petrol and diesel uniform across the country.
- On this, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, "No such scheme is under consideration with the government. ''
