
Bihar: Monsoon session of Bihar Legislative Assembly to start from Monday, likely to be tumultuous
- The Monsoon session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly will begin on Monday and it is likely to be a tumultuous one.
- The opposition parties plan to corner the state govt on issues like rising prices of fuel, cooking gas, fertilizers and mustard oil.
- Similarly, there will be a war of words between the state govt and the opposition over the Bihar Special Armed Police Bill, 2021, which was passed during the last budget session of the assembly.
- The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has already written to the Speaker, saying that in view of the March 23 incident, MLAs of opposition parties are afraid to enter the House.
- Meanwhile, Sinha has said that members who have not received their dose of the anti-Covid vaccine will not be allowed to participate in the monsoon session.
