- He said, "Today the BJP has neglected its core ideology from Jana Sangh, which has given new hope to the opposition parties."
- He said, "Defection leaders and bureaucrats from other parties are ruling the BJP, senior and hardworking workers of the party are sitting outside."
- Earlier, Swamy called the Modi govt's target of five trillion economies impossible, saying, 'for this the GDP rate should be 14.8 per year.'
