
UP: Preparations for assembly elections, BSP organizing Brahmin convention
- In view of the assembly elections to be held in UP next year, all the parties have intensified their preparations.
- BSP is organizing a Brahmin convention to woo the Brahmins who have a significant share in the vote percentage of the state.
- BSP's prominent leader Satish Chandra Mishra told that this conference will run for 90 days. Mishra said that the first phase started with the darshan of Lord Shri Ram.
- He added, "The second phase started with the darshan of Banke Bihari in Vrindavan. The third phase started with the darshan of Baba Vishwanath in Kashi and the fourth phase at Chitrakoot."
- Mishra said, "The fifth phase started with the darshan of Lord Buddha in Shravasti. After this, there will be a huge Brahmin convention in Lucknow in which BSP supremo Mayawati will attend."
