Monsoon Session: Lok Sabha adjourned till Monday due to uproar, TMC MP Santanu Sen suspended
- The Monsoon Session of the Parliament has so far been badly affected due to the uproar of the opposition.
- After Thursday, on Friday also, due to the uproar by the opposition MPs, the proceedings of both the houses – Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha had to be adjourned.
- The proceedings of the Lok Sabha have been adjourned till Monday. On the other hand, the proceedings of Rajya Sabha were first adjourned till noon and then till 2.30 pm.
- Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu told that TMC MP Santanu Sen has been suspended for the remainder of the current session of Rajya Sabha for indecent conduct a day ago.
- In protest against the suspension of Santanu Sen, Trinamool and Members of other opposition parties also created a ruckus.
