
Private member bill on population control may be introduced in Rajya Sabha today
- BJP's Rajya Sabha MP Rakesh Sinha can present the Private Member's Bill on Population Regulation in the Rajya Sabha today.
- This law will be presented in view of the increasing population of the country and the problems arising out of it,
- It is mentioned in today's business list of Rajya Sabha. The name of the bill is 'The Population Regulation Bill 2019'.
- It is recorded as a private member's bill in the name of Rakesh Sinha at number 21 in Rajya Sabha's business list.
- The bill's objective is to provide a balanced gap between two children, proper care of children, their birth in a healthy environment and proper health facilities and nutrition to the maternity in the country.
