Government does not have a system to find out how many died due to lack of oxygen - health experts
- The government has claimed not a single death due to lack of oxygen or health services, after which different arguments are being given.
- However, health experts are not surprised about this as they expected such an answer in advance. Dr. Chandrakant Laharia has given big statements on this.
- Health experts say that the Centre and the state do not have a system based on which they tell how many people died in the second wave due to lack of oxygen or not being admitted?
- Dr. Laharia said, "There is no count of those who died outside the hospital and at home, it was not even written on the death certificate that people died due to lack of oxygen."
- Dr. Rajeev Jayadevan, former President of Indian Medical Association said, "We all have faced those days. Confirming death from lack of oxygen is complicated."
