BS Yeddyurappa's message to BJP through tweet amid rumours of being removed from the post of CM
- Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa, on Wednesday, announced his decision to be removed from the post of CM.
- This came after a meeting with PM Narendra Modi last week. He appealed to allies "not to indulge in protests and indiscipline".
- Yediyurappa's tweet is being seen as a subtle gesture to the Centre, at a time when he is getting support from religious leaders and even a former Congress minister.
- Yediyurappa, 78, tweeted, "Proud to be a loyal worker of BJP. It is an honor for me that I have served the party following high ideals."
- He added, "I urge everyone to behave as per the ethos of the party and do not indulge in any such demonstration which will embarrass the party."
