AAP leader Sanjay Singh demands SIT probe under SC supervision in Pegasus case

  • After the case of spying through Pegasus spyware came to light, the opposition is continuously attacking the government.
  • On the second day of the monsoon session of Parliament, opposition MPs created a ruckus over it, due to which the proceedings of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha had to be adjourned.
  • Meanwhile, AAP MP Sanjay Singh has demanded a probe into the matter by constituting a high-level SIT under the supervision of the Supreme Court.
  • He said that the matter of phone hacks of important leaders, journalists and many other people of the country is coming to the fore.
  • "The name of former CJI Ranjan Gogoi has also come up in the controversy, the matter of hacking the phone of the woman who had alleged has come to the fore", said Sanjay.
