Monsoon Session: Uproar over Pegasus espionage scandal, Lok Sabha-Rajya Sabha adjourned in about 5 minutes
- Today is the second day of the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Even today, there is a ruckus in Parliament over the Pegasus spying scandal.
- Opposition parties are surrounding the government on this issue. Due to the uproar, the proceedings in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha had to be adjourned as soon as they started.
- This process went on for about 5 minutes only. Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm and Rajya Sabha till 11 pm.
- Let us tell you, Trinamool Congress leader Sukhendu Shekhar Roy has demanded an immediate discussion on the issue of Pegasus phone hacking under Rule 267 by suspending business in the Rajya Sabha.
- TMC MPs have demonstrated the espionage case. They demand that the matter needs to be investigated.
