Amidst heavy uproar in Rajya Sabha, PM Modi said- 'What an anti-women mentality is this? Opposition responds
- The Monsoon session of Parliament started with a ruckus. MPs of Congress, TMC, BSP and Akali Dal raised slogans on inflation, farmers' agitation and other issues.
- They reached the well of the House due to which PM Modi could not introduce the new ministers of the government in the house.
- After the uproar, the Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm. The Rajya Sabha also had to be adjourned for an hour after paying tributes to actor Dilip Kumar and sportsperson Milkha Singh.
- PM said, "Some people are suffering a lot. Today the women who have become ministers in this house are being introduced. What anti-women mentality is this?"
- Regarding the uproar, AAP MP Bhagwant Mann said that the govt is not listening to them. Didn't even say a word about the farmers. 'We are left with no option to create a ruckus'.
