UP: Video of a cook, teaching the children goes viral, salaries of teachers, headmaster stopped
- A video of Maniha, a primary school at Rasda in Ballia district, went viral on social media on Saturday, in which a cook is seen running the primary school.
- The female cook is also seen in the video giving directions to the children to read. She is saying in the video that the headmaster does not come to the school.
- After this video went viral on social media, District Basic Education Officer Shivnarayan Singh has ordered an inquiry in this matter.
- As a result, Singh has stopped the salary of all the teachers and headmaster of the school till further orders.
- The District Basic Education Officer said that the matter is being investigated and an explanation has been sought from the headmaster and teachers within a week.
