
Delhi: Order for closure of Sarojini Nagar export market, allegations of violation of Covid norms
- The Delhi govt has ordered the closure of Sarojini Nagar Export Market till further orders on charges of violation of Covid norms.
- The market associations of Sarojini Nagar have called a meeting today against the order of the government.
- It is believed that in this meeting, there will be a discussion for fight against the decision of the govt.
- Earlier, the Delhi govt had also ordered the closure of the cotton market in the famous Lajpat Nagar market and Sadar market in South Delhi for violation of Covid-19 rules.
- The DDMA has issued an order to close these markets. An official said that the team formed to comply with the Covid-19 rules had visited the market to check where "the rules were not being followed".
