Delhi: Order for closure of Sarojini Nagar export market, allegations of violation of Covid norms
The Delhi govt has ordered the closure of Sarojini Nagar Export Market till further orders on charges of violation of Covid norms.
The market associations of Sarojini Nagar have called a meeting today against the order of the government.
It is believed that in this meeting, there will be a discussion for fight against the decision of the govt.
Earlier, the Delhi govt had also ordered the closure of the cotton market in the famous Lajpat Nagar market and Sadar market in South Delhi for violation of Covid-19 rules.
The DDMA has issued an order to close these markets. An official said that the team formed to comply with the Covid-19 rules had visited the market to check where "the rules were not being followed".
