
The third wave of COVID-19 is likely to hit by the end of August, reveals ICMR

- Dr. Samiran Panda, head of epidemiology and infectious diseases at the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has made strong revelations.
- Panda said that the third wave of COVID-19 is likely to hit by the end of August but it will not be as intense as the second wave.
- Dr. added that reducing the severity of the increase in corona cases is directly related to preventing the super spreader event.
- In a press release on Monday, the IMA had said, "With the evidence being globalized and any pandemic history, third wave is inevitable and imminent."
