The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has accused the West Bengal govt of 'apathy' in the case of violence after the assembly elections held in March-April.
Not only this, the commission has also recommended a CBI inquiry into serious cases like murder and rape.
NHRC has also said that these cases should be heard outside the state.
The NHRC committee has said that the situation in West Bengal was more like a ruler's law than a 'rule of law'.
It further added that the local police would not be involved in the violence. So she was deliberately ignoring it.
