Rahul Gandhi walks out of Defense Committee meeting, wanted to discuss the border issue
- Congress MP Rahul Gandhi today walked out of the Parliamentary Defense Committee.
- According to the sources, Rahul Gandhi and other Congress MPs had demanded a discussion on the LAC in front of the Defense Committee.
- But the committee chairman turned down their demand. After the demand was rejected, all Congress MPs including Rahul Gandhi walked out.
- Rahul said that China's aggressive attitude on the border and other important issues should also be discussed in the meeting of the committee.
- Sources said that members of some other opposition parties in the committee headed by BJP MP Jual Oraon also supported Rahul Gandhi.
