
Bengal: Hearing on the battle of Nandigram to be held in the court today, probability of re-counting of votes
- A new bench will today hear the petition filed by CM Mamata Banerjee in the Calcutta High Court.
- The petition is against the victory of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari from the Nandigram seat in the West Bengal Assembly elections.
- Acting Chief Justice Rajesh Bindal referred the matter to a bench of Justice Shampa Sarkar after Justice Kaushik Chanda abstained from hearing Didi's election petition.
