- Patole said that this is being done because Congress is getting stronger at the grassroots level and both NCP-Shiv Sena is scared of it.
- Earlier, Patole had alleged that his phone was tapped during 2016-17 and Devendra Fadnavis was heading the state govt.
- Addressing a press conference today, Patole had said that the post of CM and Home Minister in the state is with Shiv Sena and NCP.
