UP Assembly Elections: Samajwadi Party posters promise 10 lakh jobs and 300 units of free electricity
- Uttar Pradesh is going to hold assembly elections next year (UP Assembly polls 2022).
- This election will prove to be challenging for the ruling BJP and in this, it can get a tough fight from Samajwadi Party.
- A few months before the elections, posters promising 10 lakh jobs for the youth and 300 units of free electricity across the state were seen outside the office of the SP in Lucknow.
- These posters written in the Hindi language said, "On coming to power, Samajwadi in its first meeting will provide 10 lakh jobs to the youth and 300 units of free electricity in entire UP."
- Earlier, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has announced that his party will tie-up with smaller parties in the 2022 assembly elections.
