Increasing population is the root of major problems including inequality- Yogi Adityanath
- On the occasion of World Population Day, UP CM Yogi Adityanath today encouraged people to spread awareness about the problems arising out of the increasing population.
- CM tweeted, "Increasing population is the root of major problems including inequality prevailing in the society."
- He wrote, "Population control is the primary condition for the establishment of a prosperous society."
- He added, "Come, on this World Population Day, let us take ourselves towards the problems of increasing population and take a pledge to make the society aware."
- A day earlier, UP Law Commission Chairman Adityanath Mittal had said that any couple who follow the two-child policy will get allowances from the govt under the proposed population control bill in the state.
