LJP leader Chirag Paswan on Saturday taunted his uncle Pashupati Kumar Paras, who rebelled against the party.
Chirag said that he achieved this goal by breaking the family. He sarcastically congratulated the uncle on becoming a cabinet minister.
This came after the Delhi High Court dismissed a petition challenging the appointment of Paras as the leader of the LJP in the Lok Sabha.
Chirag clarified, "I am in the fight to get back the blood and sweat of my late father. I will not back down."
In an indirect reference to Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Chirag said, "I will not allow the party to be dominated by people who, because of their ambition, have sat in the lap of people who have killed me."
