12 BJP MLAs suspended for 1 year over creating ruckus in Maharashtra Assembly
- 12 BJP MLAs have been suspended for one year for creating a ruckus in the Maharashtra Assembly.
- These MLAs were creating a ruckus in support of the OBC reservation. Former CM Devendra Fadnavis said that these are false allegations.
- He further added, "We are ready to sacrifice our 12 MLAs for OBC reservation. Stories are being made. No one abused from the BJP side."
- On the suspension, Maharashtra BJP MLA Ashish Shelar said, "The Thackeray govt is acting like a 'Taliban'. I condemn this action."
- "Neither I nor any other MLA abused Bhaskar Jadhav. None of the BJP members abused the cabin. I also apologized to him, yet he suspended us", he added.
