Maharashtra- Monsoon Session to begin today, Nitin Raut said- 'We are with OBC reservation and farmers' protest'
- The two-day Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra Assembly will begin today and many important decisions will be taken during this.
- A special resolution on enquiring empirical data on OBCs from the Centre and asking it to take steps on the Maratha quota will be passed in the session.
- Letting you know, the Maratha quota resolution will define the measures that the govt will take for the Maratha community.
- Meanwhile, Congress leader Nitin Raut has confirmed, "In today's Assembly session, we will propose that Centre should make empirical data if collected for OBC reservation, available to the states."
- He further added, "Data has not been given to States yet. Until we get it & submit it to SC, we can't get an OBC reservation."
