Discord within BJP in 8 states, demands of many veterans- 'elections should not be held under the leadership of Yogi'

  • There has been a situation of estrangement within the BJP, which has continuously strengthened its position in the country. Differences have come to the fore between the party leaders in eight states.
  • Despite having governments in UP, Karnataka, Tripura, and MP, party leaders in these states are not happy with the working style of the govt, which they complained to the Centre.
  • There is a lot of sabotage going on in Maharashtra, Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. All the leaders went to other parties protesting against their own leadership.
  • There is a tussle over the leadership in Karnataka and UP. One part of the BJP wants to contest the 2022 elections with Yogi's face and the other is calling it suicidal.
  • In Haryana, a consensus has not been reached about Manohar Lal Khattar even today, as the party has said that the image of all of them is strong, so it is avoiding removal.
