Delhi govt to provide financial help to the families of those who lost their lives due to coronavirus
- The Delhi cabinet has decided to provide financial help to the families of people who lost their lives due to corona in Delhi.
- This financial help with be done through the 'Chief Minister Covid-19 Family Financial Assistance Scheme'.
- Under this, the Revenue Department of the Delhi Government has directed to constitute a team of 100 officers under all SDMs to implement the scheme.
- The main three tasks of the team will be, "Verifying the details given in the application form, advising on preparing documents like the death certificate and hospital report in genuine cases, if they are not there."
- The third work will be to collect information about children below 25 years of age so that the amount of financial assistance to be given to them can be decided.
