CJI expresses concern over the country's health system, said- 'govt's attention not on the medical sector'
- Amid the Corona crisis, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court NV Raman has made a strong remark about the Modi government.
- His remarks are bringing the govt to shame. In a program organized on the occasion of National Doctor's Day, he said- "We can make them happy by celebrating Doctors Day on July 1, but this is not enough."
- Regarding the attack on doctors, he said, "It is a pity that life-saving doctors are suffering for someone else's failure."
- Chief Justice said, "Modi govt is not giving priority to this sector, shortage of health workers remains a matter of concern in the country today."
- He also expressed concern about the interference of the govt within the judiciary, saying, "maintaining the self-respect of all is most important in a democracy."
