Preparations for a reshuffle in Modi cabinet, who will be the new master of PM?
- There is a possibility of expansion in the Modi Council of Ministers in the next three days.
- It is believed that while many existing ministers can be removed from the Council of Ministers, many new faces can get a place in view of the elections in five states.
- 81 ministers can be made in the Centre and at present, there are 53 ministers in the council of ministers i.e. 28 more ministers can be made.
- There are 9 ministers in the present cabinet, who have more than one department.
- These include the names of Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Nitin Gadkari, Harshvardhan, Narendra Singh Tomar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Smriti Irani, and Hardeep Singh Puri.
