'Instead of rejecting, the controversial part should be amended'- Sharad Pawar on agricultural laws
- NCP chief Sharad Pawar has made a big statement on the controversial agricultural laws.
- He said that instead of rejecting farm laws outright, those parts of it should be amended which are causing problems to the farmers.
- He said that a group of ministers from the Maharashtra govt is studying different aspects of the agriculture law passed by the Centre.
- Pawar added, "If this group brings necessary changes in the favor of farmers, then there is no need to bring a resolution against these farm laws."
- Significantly, farmers have been protesting in Delhi since November 26 last year against the Agriculture Act passed by the Centre.
