SC's eloquent to yoga guru Ramdev- 'Whatever said for allopathy and doctors, file it in court'
- In the matter of remarks on allopathy, the Supreme Court asked Yoga Guru Ramdev to file whatever he asked for allopathy and doctors. The matter will come up for hearing next week.
- During the hearing, a 3-judge bench headed by CJI NV Ramana, Ramdev's lawyer Mukul Rohatgi said, "Swami Ramdev is a public figure, Ramdev has not given any statement about doctors."
- The top court said, "Various FIRs have been registered across the country regarding Ramdev. We want all of them to be clubbed and transferred to Delhi."
- It is worth noting that yoga guru Ramdev has approached the Supreme Court against the FIR registered in different parts of the country for his remarks on allopathy.
- He has challenged the cases registered against him by filing a writ petition. The yoga guru has said that multiple cases cannot be registered for the same thing.
