Shock for Akhilesh Yadav- SP candidate joins BJP by withdrawing form
- At present, the election of the district panchayat president is being held in UP. The ruling BJP is making candidates of other parties in its court through all the tricks.
- For the post of Shahjahanpur District Panchayat President, Samajwadi Party had nominated Binu Singh. He withdrew his form on the last day of withdrawal.
- Binu Singh joined the BJP today in the presence of cabinet minister Suresh Khanna, thus making BJP candidate Mamata Yadav victorious unopposed.
- The socialist leaders were disappointed with the SP candidate joining the BJP, although they are not ready to say anything yet.
