SC gives nod to CA physical examination, could be conducted from July 5

  • Big information is coming out for the candidates who are waiting for the Chartered Accountant (CA) exam.
  • The Supreme Court has given a green signal to the physical examination for the CA exam.
  • The court said that ICAI can conduct the examination. SC asked ICAI to consider opting out option for students who are COVID infected or have a post-Covid effect.
  • The bench asked the ICAI to nominate the authority who can certify a candidate that there are issues related to COVID for opting out.
  • ICAI has said that it will implement the suggestions of the Supreme Court and will inform tomorrow. The matter will also be heard on Wednesday.
