Maharashtra: Corona cases start increasing along with Delta Plus variant, fear of the third wave intensifies
- The fear of the third wave of corona in Maharashtra has increased amidst concerns about the Delta Plus variant of the coronavirus in the country.
- Maharashtra is seeing an increase in the daily cases of coronavirus once again. On Thursday, 9844 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the state.
- Apart from this, the cases of the Delta Plus variant are also increasing continuously in the state.
- The Health Department issued a statement saying that the total number of infected people in the state has gone up to 60,07,431.
- With the death of 197 more people, the total number of dead has gone up to 1,19,859. Of these, 149 people have died in the last 48 hours.
