
Maharashtra: ED raids former home minister Anil Deshmukh's residence, alleging money laundering
- The Enforcement Directorate today raided the house of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
- Let us tell you that after the allegation made by former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh, a case of money laundering was registered against Anil Deshmukh.
- For this, the Electoral Directorate has continuously been interrogating Anil Deshmukh.
- Parambir Singh had written a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray and made some serious allegations against former Deshmukh regarding corruption.
- Apart from this, Parambir had also filed a petition in the Bombay High Court, in which it was told that Anil Deshmukh had asked Sachin Waje to collect around Rs 100 crore every month.
