
Haryana: Former CM Omprakash Chautala's sentence ends, was imprisoned for 10 years in JBT recruitment scam
- The sentence of former Haryana CM Om Prakash Chautala, who is serving a sentence in the JBT (Junior Basic Training) recruitment scam, has been completed.
- This information has been given to Chautala's lawyer Amit Sahni on behalf of the Tihar Jail Administration.
- His lawyer told that last night Chautala's sentence has been completed. Some paperwork remains. As soon as he is completed, the release orders will be issued officially.
- Earlier, the Delhi High Court had directed the Delhi govt to produce relevant records on the issue of release of former CM Om Prakash Chautala.
- Chautala is serving a sentence in the teacher recruitment scam case. The court had also extended Chautala's parole period till April 12.
