Fuel price hike: Petrol being sold at Rs 98 in Delhi, 100 in Rajasthan, Mumbai, Bhopal

  • There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel today. Earlier on Tuesday, petrol became costlier by 28 paise per liter and diesel by 26 paise per liter.
  • Let us tell you, since May 4, 2021, oil marketing companies have increased retail fuel prices for a total of 29 days, taking petrol and diesel to their record high level.
  • With the increase of these 29 days, petrol has become costlier by Rs 7.18 per liter and diesel by Rs 7.45 per liter so far.
  • Petrol is being sold beyond Rs 100 per liter in many districts. At the same time, diesel has also crossed Rs 100 per liter in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan.
  • Petrol is running beyond 100 in Mumbai and Bhopal too. In Delhi also, petrol is reaching near 98.
