200 BJP workers joined TMC, shaved their heads, and sprinkled Gangajal, said- 'joining BJP was a big mistake'
- After the assembly elections in Bengal, the sequence of return of BJP workers to TMC continues. Hooghly district saw a unique return.
- 200 BJP workers got their heads shaved in the presence of MP Aparupa Poddar in the Arambagh area, after which they returned to TMC by sprinkling Ganga water.
- These workers, coming from the Dalit class, said that they had made a big mistake by joining the BJP, now they have realized this.
- Earlier in Birbhum too, hundreds of workers had returned to TMC by sprinkling Gangajal on themselves, many troubled leaders also joined TMC.
- BJP has blamed the violence behind this, saying, "BJP workers are scared of the ongoing violence in Bengal and are joining TMC to escape."
