MP: Deaths due to negligence are a shame! Ward boy removes oxygen support, leading to death of teacher
- A major case of negligence has come to light in the Covid ward of Shivpuri district hospital in Madhya Pradesh.
- The family alleged that the oxygen support of the teacher Surendra Sharma, admitted in the Covid ward, was removed by the ward boy and put to another patient, which resulted in Sharma's death.
- His son Deepak Sharma was with him till 11 pm on Tuesday. The next day he reached there after receiving a call from the hospital.
- He told, 'Papa's condition was good for 2-3 days, he was eating properly, drinking water. Someone removed oxygen at night. He kept on yearning."
- Deepak added, "I got a call in the morning. I came running, I told the doctors and nurses to put oxygen on it, but they did not apply. He died in 10-15 minutes."
