Antila Case: Police officer Sachin Waje sent to jail custody till 23rd April
Police officer Sachin Waje, suspended in the Antilia and Mansukh Hiren murder case, has been sent to custody till 23rd April.
The NIA had complained to the court about Waje's letter being leaked, on which the court reprimanded Sachin Waje's lawyer and gave strict instructions that this should not happen from now on.
During the hearing, Waje demanded to be sent to a safe cell on getting jail custody. His lawyer said that the client has sent many criminals to jail while in service, so a safe cell should be given.
NIA court has approved CBI's plea. The court said, "Go to the office and see whatever documents are there and the NIA will help in whatever they want. The court accepted the demand."
