Maharashtra: Amid COVID 19 surge, Thane to go under complete lockdown from March 13

Maharashtra has been witnessing a surge in COVID 19 cases in the past few days, which has become a matter of concern.
According to the officials, the order has been issued by the Thane Municipal Commissioner, Vipin Sharma for the lockdown in Thane city.
The lockdown will be done between March 13 and 31 in 11 hotspots in the city due to the rise in COVID 19 cases in these areas.
According to the issued order, the restrictions placed during the nationwide lockdown would be implemented this time as well.
Letting you know, on Monday, the Thane district recorded over 2,69,834 COVID 19 cases, including 6,302 deaths.
