Twitter users make #BankersOnStrike top trend, says, Modi govt privatizing banks to benefit business houses

The four major banks have already been shortlisted for privatization by the BJP-led Central govt.
The respective banks are the Bank of Maharashtra, Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, and the Central Bank of India.
The bankers have started a strike against the privatization of banks by making hashtag #BankersOnStrike a top trend on Twitter.
National convenor of Yuva Halla Bol, Anupam wrote, "Let us all stand in solidarity with the bankers who have been a backbone of India's growth & prosperity for several decades.
He added, "Modi govt's attack on the banking sector to benefit a few business houses will impact not just the bankers but every Indian."
