On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has given a special gift to women.
The entry of women in all ASI-protected monuments, including the Taj Mahal, is free for today.
ASI's Joint Director General (Monuments) M Nambirajan issued this order. He said that all the Indian and foreign women tourists will be given free entry on International Women's Day.
Not only this, on the occasion of World Heritage Day, the tourists will also get free entry to all ASI-protected monuments.
Letting you know, the real graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz, which are located in the basement, will also remain open for women today.
