International Women's Day: Free entry of women at Taj Mahal and other ASI-protected monuments
- On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has given a special gift to women.
- The entry of women in all ASI-protected monuments, including the Taj Mahal, is free for today.
- ASI's Joint Director General (Monuments) M Nambirajan issued this order. He said that all the Indian and foreign women tourists will be given free entry on International Women's Day.
- Not only this, on the occasion of World Heritage Day, the tourists will also get free entry to all ASI-protected monuments.
- Letting you know, the real graves of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz, which are located in the basement, will also remain open for women today.
