Modi govt's negligence increased unemployment in India, demonetization being the main reason: Dr. Manmohan Singh

Former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, who arrived in Kerala, inaugurated a virtual conference of Rajiv Gandhi Development Studies, a think tank associated with the Congress Party.
Meanwhile, targeting the Modi govt, he said that the Modi government does not consult with the states before taking a decision.
He said that regular consultation is a philosophy rooted in India's economic and political cornerstone, but the Modi government does not attach importance to it.
The former PM said that due to this foolish decision by the BJP government, the unemployment rate in the country has increased.
In a conference called "Pratheeksha 2030", the former PM said, "Unemployment is high and the informal sector is in shambles."
