The Bodoland People's Front coalition in Assam has left the NDA on Saturday and joined the Congress.
BPF President Hagrama Mohilary said, "We cannot either play friendship or continue alliance with the BJP."
Mohilary said that he has joined hands with the Grand Alliance to free Assam from corruption, peace, unity, and development in the state.
Earlier, RJD has also joined the Grand Alliance in Assam, which strengthened its position against the BJP in the Assam Assembly elections.
Letting you know, earlier also, Assam Finance Minister Hemant Biswa Sarma has said that the BPF will not be a part of the NDA in the elections.
