Umar Khalid Arrested in Connection With Delhi Violence

Former JNU student Umar Khalid was arrested by a special cell in connection with Delhi violence.
The special cell has booked Khalid under the UAPA.
On Sunday, they called him for questioning which went on for hours, following which the special cell arrested him.
In the chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police Crime Branch, it was revealed that over a month before the riots, Hussain met with Umar Khalid and Khalid Saifi at the Shaheen Bagh anti-CAA protest.
Umar asked him to be prepared for something big/riots at the time of Trump's visit.
