- The special cell has booked Khalid under the UAPA.
- On Sunday, they called him for questioning which went on for hours, following which the special cell arrested him.
- In the chargesheet filed by the Delhi Police Crime Branch, it was revealed that over a month before the riots, Hussain met with Umar Khalid and Khalid Saifi at the Shaheen Bagh anti-CAA protest.
- Umar asked him to be prepared for something big/riots at the time of Trump's visit.
