Haryana govt posted senior IPS officer Alok Mittal as Additional Director General of Police, Criminal Investigation Department.
An official said, "Mittal will take over from Anil Kumar Rao."
Anil Kumar Rao is retiring today.
Earlier this month, the Haryana govt had posted Mittal as an officer on special duty in CID.
Let us tell you, Mittal, a 1993-batch IPS officer of the Haryana cadre, was earlier on deputation as the Inspector General of the NIA.
